Electrical engineer and computer scientist by training, with an MSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences and a dissertation in AI and Computer Vision, Ugo started his career in mission-critical systems at Alstom and Eurocontrol. He then co-founded UbiCall Communications, a venture-backed speech-recognition startup in San Francisco and Belgium, which he led as CEO, before joining McKinsey & Company in the Strategy & Corporate Finance practice. The fifteen years that followed took him to C-suite roles at LG Electronics and Royal Philips across the Middle East and Africa, leading regional strategy, new business building, solutions sales and consulting.
